WHERE TO BUY CUSCO TOURIST TICKET?
At the main ticket office Cosituc Cusco Av el Sol 103, Half a block from Cusco main square. Or at any entry gate of the site included on the ticket.
CAN I PURCHASE THE TICKETS ONLINE?
No! All visitors should go personally or through a travel agency, but as long as these never run out, it is all right.
DO HOLIDAY TICKETS GO FAST?
No! Tickets never run out, not even in the highest season.
CAN I PAY FOR THE TOURIST TICKET IN US DOLLARS?
No! You need to exchange Dollars for soles first.
CAN I PAY FOR THE TICKETS WITH MY CREDIT CARD?
No! You need to have cash or Peruvian round coins.
RATES FOR ADULTS AND KIDS
For foreigners
- Kids under 9 years old get the benefit of a 100 % discount, free access for them. 0 soles
- Kids 10 up to 17 get a discount on student tickets by presenting their original passports only. 70 soles
- Students 18 up to 25 get a discount on student tickets by presenting their student cards plus their original passports. 70 soles
- Adults pay 130 soles by presenting their Original passport.
CAN I PAY FOR THE TICKETS AT THE ENTRY GATE?
Yes! You can, although it is better to get them at the ticket store.
OTHER SINGLE-ENTRY TICKETS
Single-entry tickets are required for visiting places such as the Cusco Cathedral, (25 soles) Inca Museum (10 soles), The Coricancha Sun temple, and the convent (15 soles). There also may be other churches and museums, which Cusco tourist ticket Boleto Turistico does not include, so you have to pay at the entry gate.
HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BUY MY TICKET?
Any time you want, since these don’t sell out. Also, the tickets can not be postponed or extended because these have a specific expiry date. We suggest you buy the tickets at least one day in advance.
USEFUL INFORMATION
- Bring with you your Original passport.
- Even if it passes a day, and your tickets are expired, you won’t be able to enter the parks.
- If you are short on time, go for the specific partial tickets rather than Boleto Turistico general (BTG).
- Tickets are punched at the time you enter the park, and once out, you can´t get in again.
- Every ticket shows a seal of the tour company or your name if it is the case; therefore, it is not possible to sell or transfer it to someone else.
