Our Amazing Tour Guides
A majority of people in the contemporary world love traveling. Visiting tourism sites to just view nature which includes animals, plants or vegetation, valleys, rivers, and other water bodies as well as hills and mountains is one of the best experiences. However, this activity needs to be supported by professionals and for that same reason, we have our experienced tour guides.
Our guides have vast knowledge on how to deal with animals and the general appearance of the site, they have considerable knowledge of the cultural heritage of the place which you are visiting and they know how to make you spend an unforgettable trip, and also are amazing photographers. Know all of the best spots to get the best pic at the best time.
The AB Expeditions tour guides are 100% local. They are from different villages and communities Cusco Region. They have been in the profession for a good number of years which means they know everything about the site. Therefore our client is able to learn a lot in the entire walking tour or traveling tour with the help of an experienced guide.
Our Tour guides have graduated in Tourism and passed tests to be able to guide along the treks like the classic Inca Trail, Salkantay trek, Ausangate Trek, Lares Trek to mention a few.
All of them will lead your group from start to end. The whole journey will be alongside your tour guides. Every group has one guide and if the group is more than 8 people, there will be 2 tour guides. They are in charge of the group from the hotel pick up to the hotel drop off.
They speak both English and Spanish and are here to respond to your needs on the spot. Quechua is their main language and they will be more than happy to help translate your words towards the porters and also teach you some of our ancient languages.
Female Guides
AB Expeditions was founded under the same philosophy of work it’s followed now. Equality and fair treatment to each member of the team. This way of working led us to be the travel company in Cusco to have female tour guides leading the groups. A practice not popular at all in Cusco but needed. The reason why we began a whole project to empower women to become amazing guides.
