SINGRENACOCHA BLUE LAKE DAY TOUR

Singrenacocha blue Lake Day Hike is a hundred and eighteen kilometers away from Cusco City. It is one of the most beautiful lagoons around Ausangate area. This lagoon is surrounded by unparaleled landscape and  mountains. This lagoon is not well known and visited yet, what makes it more special. Of course you will see llamas, Alpacas and farmers still wearing their typical costumes around the lagoon.

CUSCO – OCONGATE – SINGRENACOCHA – CUSCO:

We will pick you up from your hotel, at 5:00 am, then we will drive for 3 hours to the yanacancha village, on the way we can appreciate the biodiversity of the area such as: typical alpacas and llamas of the area. Once we get to the trailhead, we will have  a notricious boxbreakfast. After eating our meal we wil walk for about 10 minutes to the viewpoint of the beautiful lake. you will have time to explore the area and take pictures. We will spend approximately 30 minutes. then we will walk down to the lake where we will see trout farming. After exploring the lake we will come back to the van. We will drive to the village of Pampacancha where we go to the hotspring and have lunch in the same place. Then we get back to van drive back to Cusco. We wil arrive to Cusco at 05:00 pm roughly.

WHAT WE RECOMMEND TO BRING:

  • 1 Liter and half of the water (per person- at least!).
  • Personal snacks (optional).
  • Water-resistant trekking shoes.
  • Warm clothing (thermal underwear, fleece, hat, gloves, and socks).
  • Waterproof clothing (poncho).
  • Synthetic or cotton clothing (socks, trousers, shorts, t-shirts).
  • Sunhat and sunglasses.
  • Sun cream.
  • Water bottles such as Nalgene.
  • Basic medications.
  • Walking sticks.
  • Personal items.

If you have reserved the service with your old Passport and then you have renewed it and obtained another, you most likely will have a different passport number. Please let us know so we can update this information. This modification has to be made prior to your trip to Peru (at least 10 days before your trip). As soon as you have your new passport please inform AB Expeditions of this change. Otherwise, this update or modification will have an additional fee of USD 12.00 and it will create a big inconvenience to update it at the last minute.

If you do not bring your passport, you won’t be allowed in the trail. Also, if you bring your new passport and failed to inform us and this information was not updated, you won’t be allowed in the Inca Trail or Machu Picchu.

Those passengers who booked their trip using the discounted price for  Student Holders must bring their original and valid student card (not a copy and not expired). This document must be shown at the Inca Trail Control Gate. Unfortunately, if you do not bring your card, you will be denied entry to the Inca Trail as the permits won’t be valid without your card.

It is very important that our passengers inform us before their trip of any medical restriction, food restriction, allergies, special diets, current medication, health issues, or anything that we need to consider to make your trip enjoyable and without concerns.
